Kleine Brogel - photocall 10/09/2008

The first ex-Belgian F-16's sold to the Jordanian Air Force left Kleine Brogel in the early morning to their new home base .


Kecskemet - airshow (arrivals) 6/08/2010

The day before the Kecskemet airshow, a lot of aircraft arrived and rehearsalled their demonstration against a clear blue sky and a temperature of 40°C.


Farnborough - airshow 14 & 20/07/2008

Farnborough airshow is held every 2 years and it was a great edition again. I went on Monday to see the raptor and again on Sunday for the airshow.


Kleine Brogel - photocall 18/07/2008

The personel of KB did again a good job to organise a photocall for the arrivals of Sanicole airshow. The highlights of the day were the 2 Spanish Mirage F-1's and the 2 French Mirage 2000's.


TLP 2008-3 - Florennes

This TLP course was full of nice aircraft like Turkish phantoms and F-16's, rafales, gripens, Mirage 2000, hornets...


Biggin Hill - air fair 8/06/2008

The airfair this year was again a great succes with topdisplays as Mirage 2000, Typhoon, Role demo, Meteor and many more. It was also one of the very few airshows with good weather this year...


Beauvechain - Base visit 22/05/2008

Beauvechain is the homebase of the Marchetti training aircraft, Alpha Jet maintenance and the 1W historical centre.


Bierset - Base visit 22/05/2008

The Belgian heli wing is based at Bierset flying the Agusta A.109BA and a hand full of Alouette II.


Florennes - CSAR exercise 09/05/2008

Florennes was the base for an international CSAR exercise. For this exercise a lot of special helicopters came to the airbase in the ardennes.


Weeze - airport festival 30/04/2008

During our return from Wittmund we made a short stop at the festival to photograph the military jets at Weeze airport, former RAF Laarbruch. The harriers really came back in force and were nicely put in front of their former shelters.


Wittmund - 30/04/2008

The second day of our Wittmund stay was rather short, but the big amount of flying activity made it more than good. The sun was again shining from the very early morning.


Wittmund - 29/04/2008

The last years of the mighty phantom are counted, so to see some F-4 action relative near to our house, we headed to Wittmund, fightertown Germany. Incredible how much they still fly with that beautifull old lady.


Emmen - 04/04/2008

The second half of our final day we have spent in Emmen. There was a Patrouille Suisse fan day with the display rehearsal of Patrouille Suisse. There were some other nice and interesting visitors in Emmen also.


Alpnach/Buochs - 04/04/2008

Our last day started again at Alpnach with splendid weather. We saw again the 3 cougars landing like the day before, but now on the other runway. Then we left to Buochs and could photograph a Swiss Air Force PC-21.


Alpnach/Buochs - 03/04/2008

Because there was no flying activity at Meiringen we went to Alpnach. There we saw 3 cougars arriving in formation. In the afternoon we went to Buochs to see the Singaporian PC-21's. Unfortunatly it rained all day long.


Meiringen - 02/04/2008

At Meiringen there was a WK with Hornets, so they flew from the cavernes. There were 3 missions with each 4 aircraft that day. Unfortunatly the weather was not good.


Payerne - 01/04/2008

The second day at Payerne, the weather was much better in the afternoon. 4 waves of the local fighters were flown, so a lot of action.


Payerne - 31/03/2008

Payerne is the main Air Force base in Switserland. It is the home of the Tiger and Hornet fighters as well as Super Puma and Alouette helicopters and other aircraft like PC-6 and PC-7.


Ramstein & Baden-Söllingen - 30/03/2008

Ramstein is a USAF transport base and even on a Sunday there is plenty of traffic. Afterwards we went to the ex RCAF fighterbase Baden-Söllingen.


Cambrai - 11/02/2008

Cambrai houses 2 Sqn's of Mirage 2000's and is the home of the tigersqn. This is the result of one day at the fence at Cambrai.
